“The world of Oceania is neither tiny nor deficient in resources.”
–Epeli Hauʻofa, Our Sea of Islands

Connections through Research

We work with non-profits, governments, educational institutions, and community groups to create connections through research.  We specialize in culturally-responsive evaluation tailored to your needs. We use data to help you tell your story. Our logo represents the islands that connect, rather than divide, us. The Tongan scholar Epeli Hauʻofa wrote the influential essay Our Sea of Islands (1994), sharing his belief that our ancestors saw the ocean not as a barrier, but as a highway. The kotawa or frigate bird represents navigation, protection, and the link between land and sea.
